ATLANTA-Cingular Wireless L.L.C. parent company BellSouth Corp. said it will sell its portfolio of residential communications and entertainment services at Cingular stores in the Southeast.
The announcement follows BellSouth’s regional rollout of a door-to-door sales force that will be expanded to Cingular stories in all nine states of BellSouth’s service area during the year.
“Building on our need to meet our customers on their turf, this new sales channel creates a unique environment where customers can speak to highly trained BellSouth representatives about bundling local, long distance, Cingular Wireless, Internet and DirectTV service,” said Jan Funderburg, BellSouth president of consumer services.
