Pegasus picks up three W.V. towers

BECKLEY, W.V.-Pegasus Tower Co. Ltd. has acquired three wireless communications sites from New York-based A.P. Cell Towers, a division of Apollo Real Estate Advisors.

The towers, located in West Virginia’s Raleigh and Mercer Counties, will provide coverage on the I-77 and I-64 corridors, along U.S. 19/460, and within the Beckley and Princeton, W.V., trading areas.

“The transaction ultimately met both parties’ objectives and also became a vehicle through which Pegasus and Apollo subsequently agreed to pursue opportunities together in the future,” explained Gary Hearl, president and chief executive officer of Pegasus.
