Cricket to sell Motorola phone

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-Cricket Communications Inc. said it will sell Motorola Inc.’s C341 mobile phone for a base price of $150. The phone features interchangeable housing and rubber side grips, a color display, advanced messaging capabilities, and embedded and downloadable graphics.

“With the addition of the new Motorola C341 to our handset portfolio, we continue to offer our customers a mobile phone that meets their personal style and substance demands,” said Jeff Schrier, vice president of sales for Cricket Communications. “This phone gives users the opportunity for personal expression with interchangeable covers and customizable musical ring tones and graphics. Our customers will use the C341 where they live, work and play without ever skipping a beat.”

Separately, Motorola said TV star Rachel Bilson will promote its Rock the Vote Mobile campaign.
