TOLEDO, Ohio-Marconi Interactive Systems said it has partnered with Airpath Wireless to provide Wi-Fi capabilities to its telephone and Internet-ready kiosks.
Airpath said its platform serves the back-office provision needs of up to 400 wireless Internet service providers and 1,800 hot spots around the world.
“The customer will enter a venue where a Marconi kiosk is located and either access the Internet directly or wirelessly through the broadband signal emitted by the kiosk,” said both companies.
