ALAMEDA, Calif.-UTStarcom Inc. said it has raised about $475 million in cash from selling 12.1 million shares of its common stock to Banc of America L.L.C.
“The company intends to use the proceeds “for strategic and general corporate purposes such as, but not limited to, acquisitions, investments, working capital or capital expenditures.”
