JAKARTA, Indonesia-Motorola Inc. said it has signed a contract to supply PT Telkom with a cdma2000 1x system in ten provinces of Sumatra, one of the country’s largest islands.
Motorola describes it as its 15th third-generation contract worldwide and seventh in the Asia-Pacific region.
The network, which will go commercial in April this year, will incur about $30 million in initial rollout.
