COLLEGE STATION, Texas-NetNearU, provider of solutions for the public Internet access market, has expanded its wired and wireless public network in the consumer retail space following the finalization of contracts totaling more than $600,000.
“These new contracts illustrate continued strength in the hybrid wired/wireless business model of NetNearU,” said Larry James, chairman and chief executive officer of the company. “These contracts were awarded despite the continued sluggishness of the global economy and significantly increase our installed base of wired and wireless public access locations that already number more than 1,200 locations worldwide.”
