ATLANTA-AirGate PCS Inc., a Sprint PCS affiliate, reported $122.8 million in total revenue for its third fiscal quarter ended June 30, more than double the $49.7 million it reported for the same quarter last year. Net losses also more than doubled from $23.7 million last year, a loss of $1.80 per share, to $50.1 million this year, a loss of $1.94 per share.
For the quarter the carrier said it added 26,079 net customers, ending the quarter with 532,446 total subscribers. Average revenue per user was reported at $60 with customer churn at 3.2 percent.
