SAN DIEGO—Leap Wireless International Inc. launched its Cricket wireless service in Lincoln, Neb., and Eugene, Ore., the second and third launches for the carrier this week and 34th and 35th markets nationwide.
Leap noted customers in both markets could sign up for “sister city” service offering extended calling areas. Nebraska customers can select the Omaha or Lincoln service areas, or for an additional charge make calls in both markets, with Oregon customers choosing between Eugene and Salem.
