SAN FRANCISCO—Following a recent annual meeting, venture capital firm SoftBank Venture Capital announced it will change its name to Mobius Venture Capital, a move it said reflects its independent status.
The company also announced its funding of two wireless companies, SkyPilot Network and Bergana Communications. In addition, Danger Inc., a Mobius-backed company, announced Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, will join its board of directors.
