MCALLEN, Texas—Nextel Partners Inc. launched digital service in Edinburg, McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville and South Padre Island, Texas, expanding coverage in the Rio Grande Valley along the Interstate-35 corridor between Dallas/Fort Worth and the Mexican border.
In conjunction with the launch, Nextel Partners donated 10 wireless phones and free local service for a year to the American Red Cross’ South Texas Chapter.
