EMS Wireless receives two Brazilian qualifications

ATLANTA, United States—EMS Wireless said its Brazilian subsidiary achieved two operational milestones.

Its three product lines have received certification by Brazil’s national telecom agency, Anatel. In addition, EMS Wireless products manufactured in Brazil have been qualified by the Brazilian government through Banco do Brazil for FINAME financing to EMS Wireless. The FINAME program is intended to fuel investment in Brazil’s telecom infrastructure. Companies purchasing EMS antennas and other qualified wireless equipment manufactured in Brazil can borrow money at the attractive LIBOR rates instead of the 30-percent rate typically offered in commercial banks, EMS Wireless said.
