VALLEY FORGE, Pa.-In a move to create a single billing and customer care solution for phone, cable TV, Internet and wireless services, CTI Group Inc. announced a $5.2 million merger with Celltech Information Systems Inc.
CTI Group’s move follows an announcement in February of a merger with software development company Centillion Data Systems.
CTI Group provides software and services for the management of telecommunications systems, and Celltech offers a billing engine for wireless, PCS, Internet long-distance and paging services.
“Celltech’s core capabilities in wireless billing are a key part of our joint vision to offer converged telecommunications billing and customer care solutions to the market,” said Tony Johns, CTI Group’s chairman and chief executive officer.
