Best Buy to sell Verizon service

MINNEAPOLIS-Verizon Wireless services will be offered at more than 350 Best Buy stores nationwide beginning in October, complementing the retailer’s current national wireless two-way messaging and paging relationship with Verizon Wireless.

The agreement includes Verizon’s wireless products and services, including the company’s recently introduced mobile Internet service.

“This agreement is part of Best Buy’s plan to expand and improve the ways people communicate and gather information online,” noted Brad Anderson, president and chief operating officer of Best Buy Co. Inc. “We’re pleased to join in this effort with Verizon Wireless.”
