BUCHAREST, Romania-Harris Corp. said it completed field trials of its ClearBurst 28 GHz broadband wireless access microwave radio in Bucharest. The system is being used for high-speed data communications by Westgate Digital Romania (WDR), a local multipoint distribution services (LMDS) operator.
WDR is the first LMDS provider in Romania and has nationwide infrastructure for providing data, video and voice services.
