CUPERTINO, Calif.-Vyyo Inc. said it has joined Remec Inc. to develop customer premises equipment products for use in multichannel multipoint distribution system broadband wireless access networks. Remec will provide the microwave transport solution and Vyyo will furnish the wireless hubs and modems.
Under terms of the agreement, Vyyo and Remec also will collaborate to develop a series of two-way transceiver/antenna systems to be manufactured by Remec and marketed directly to system integrators and service providers, Vyyo said.
