IPERIA AIDS IN IP MARKETING

NEW ORLEANS-IPeria Inc., a provider of Internet Protocol-based enhanced services platforms and applications, announced its BroadReach marketing support program that teams IPeria marketing personnel with its clients.

The BroadReach Team works with clients from initial service deployment planning through service introduction and rollout, said IPeria. IPeria offers marketing support for market research and analysis, service planning and packaging, pricing, trial design and support, user education, promotion, sales training and support and service enhancement planning.

“We believe that the BroadReach program is one of the most valuable assets of our total solution,” said Kenneth Osowski, vice president of marketing and business development at IPeria. “Many of our customers are rolling out entire new networks and while they want to offer IP-based enhanced services as soon as possible, the logistics and manpower requirements of bringing multiple services to market quickly are daunting.

“BroadReach provides specialized expertise in enhanced services that assists the customer’s marketing group in identifying target market requirements that help to define service packaging and pricing. Better upfront market analysis can help the service provider achieve market-share and profit goals,” continued Osowski. “In this market, time really is money and BroadReach helps customers to optimize marketing efforts and speed time to market, resulting in a product that provides clear value to the user.”

IPeria also displayed its Voice Activated Voice E-mail product at PCS ’99 last week in New Orleans. VAVE is an IP-based enhanced service that is sold to network service providers as a software component of the IPeria Service Node.

The product allows subscribers to originate, listen to or reply to e-mails using any telephone device. VAVE incorporates automatic speech recognition technology, which allows users to speak the name of the e-mail recipient, causing the service to create a voice e-mail that can be sent to the recipient’s e-mail address.

The company also plans to demonstrate the product this week at the Fall ’99 Voice on the Net show this week in Atlanta.
