VERNON HILLS, Ill.-Telular Corp. announced it completed its acquisition of Wireless Domain Inc. in an all-stock deal.
Telular previously had owned 50 percent of the cellular radio development firm. Wireless Domain’s principal owner and founder, Daniel Giacopelli, was appointed executive vice president and chief technology officer at Telular and placed on the company’s board of directors. Telular creates telecom interface technology enabling standard phone systems to use cellular wireless service for primary or back-up communications.
