Glenayre Technologies Inc.’s Wireless Messaging Group said its GL3000 wireless messaging switch was successfully inter-networked with Motorola Inc.’s RF-Conductor using Glenayre’s WMtp protocol. WMtp is designed to enable inter-networking in one-way and two-way paging networks. “Glenayre developed WMtp to provide the wireless messaging industry with the benefits of true plug-and-play interoperability,” said John Linton, senior vice president of marketing and product management for Glenayre’s Wireless Messaging Group.
