Sue Cardillo was named manager of public affairs at AT&T Wireless Services. Cardillo will be responsible for media relations, charitable giving, community relations and employee communications. She has 10 years experience in the public relations field, most recently as the senior media/community relations specialist at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Jeffrey I. Greenwald has been named vice president of marketing at Paging Network Inc. Greenwald previously was responsible for product marketing for Toshiba America Information Systems and has held senior marketing and sales positions at Seagate Technology, Hitachi Systems, Storage Technology Corp. and IBM Corp.

Geotek Communications Inc. has appointed Michael McCoy chief financial officer and senior vice president. McCoy joined Geotek in 1994 as vice president of Northeast regional operations. Prior to joining Geotek, McCoy was a member of the office of the chairman and senior vice president of business development for LCI International Inc.

AirTouch Communications Inc. appointed Mohan Gyani executive vice president and chief financial officer. Gyani will oversee the financial organization during the company’s ventures, which include the conversion of analog to digital networks in domestic cellular markets and the start-up of several international businesses. He has previously served as vice president and treasurer of Pacific Telesis and vice president and controller of Pacific Bell.

Mark A. Anawaty has been named director of operations for PCS PrimeCo L.P. in the Houston metropolitan trading area. He formerly conducted site acquisitions and government/public affairs for Houston Cellular in the same market.

Minoru Funahashi is now chairman and chief operating officer of Texas-based JRC International Inc. Funahashi has held managerial and executive positions with Japan Radio Co. Ltd. since 1959 and has aided in opening the global market for the cellular division of JRC’s international sales department. JRC International is a subsidiary of Japan Radio Co. Ltd., and is an original equipment manufacturer supplier to communications providers.

Cincinnati Bell Inc. named Robert J. Marino chief executive officer of Cincinnati Bell Information Systems Inc. Marino is a founding board member of the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association and former president of Houston Cellular Telephone Co. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations of CBIS’ U.S. division.

The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association named Ben Scott to its board of directors. Scott is president and chief executive officer of PCS PrimeCo L.P., which recently became a member of CTIA. CTIA President Thomas Wheeler said the organization’s membership now represents at least one PCS license holder in each U.S. market.

General Magic Inc. appointed Robert Kelsch chief operating officer and executive vice president. Kelsch will be responsible for setting General Magic’s product strategy and managing day-to-day business operations. Prior to joining General Magic, Kelsch served as president and chief executive officer of Ericsson Raynet Corp.

Richard Sulpizio will resume his post as chief operating officer of Qualcomm Inc. after serving as president of the company’s OmniTracs division for six months. He will focus on expanding Qualcomm’s manufacturing capacity, while continuing to oversee the strategic direction of OmniTracs. Before joining Qualcomm in 1991, Sulpizio worked in management at Unisys Corp.

John Sarto has been named vice president and general manager of OmniTracs. He joined Qualcomm in January as vice president of sales and marketing, and has previously worked as senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer service for the Overnite Transportation Co.
