DALLAS-Subscribers of First Cellular of Southern Illinois can access a new ringback service featuring content from the film “Meet the Fockers.”
Preferred Voice Inc. (PVI) and Versaly Entertainment are teaming for the service, which the companies described as the first movie-themed ring-back offering in the United States. First Cellular and PVI teamed to offer the nation’s first ring-back service in October; T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless have recently launched services as well.
“Ring-back tones are hot, and the demand is growing,” said Latif Nathani, PVI’s chief executive officer. “Ring backs offer a very lucrative way for consumers to personalize their wireless experience, and we are excited to have been the first to launch in the U.S. and to bring some of the first movie tones to the ringback service.”
