End2End acquires MIGway

AALBORG, Denmark-Mobile data services and content company End2End has acquired Danish mobile virtual network operator MIGway A/S, the companies announced Wednesday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

MIGway owns and operates a short message service center that provides interactive messaging services to customers across Europe and is best known for powering mobile Hotmail and MSN Messenger services. The company was previously owned by TDC Mobile and LogicaCMG and provides connectivity to more than 300 GSM networks around the world.

“The acquisition of MIGway represents a key step in strengthening our market leadership position in Europe,” said Soren Ravn, End2End’s chief executive officer. “Based on positive feedback from the market, we have started to accelerate our growth through more aggressive investment in sales, marketing and acquisitions, and this specific acquisition enables us to not only expand our connectivity offering with a broader range of propositions, but also to enhance our value-added services solutions.”
