NEW YORK-Wireless steaming multimedia company Emblaze Systems Inc. announced a distribution deal with Network Appliance Inc. for Emblaze’s Wireless Media Platform, the company’s streaming audio and video technology.
As a part of the partnership, the companies said they will engage in joint marketing activities aimed at wireless carriers, communications service providers and enterprise customers.
“The combination of the companies’ products delivers a carrier-grade infrastructure solution for delivery of wireless multimedia applications,” said Sasson Darwish, Emblaze’s president. “Storage-intensive applications such as video messaging must utilize the highly reliable and scalable products, and those will be provided by Network Appliance.”
Network Appliance is a network storage and content delivery company.
