Merkel speaks out against net neutrality (RCR Mobile Minute)

    German Chancellor Angela Merkel has spoken out against net neutrality. She says an Internet fast lane is the best way to ensure reliable delivery of key services. Merkel believes that guaranteed reliability for some services will foster innovation so that new mobile technologies can evolve. Right now, net neutrality is the law in the European Union.
    In other news, Nokia Networks has made two new executive appointments. Andrew Cope will lead the company’s business in Korea, and Ray Owen will lead Nokia’s teams in Australia and New Zealand. Both men will report to Paul Tyler, senior vice president of Asia Pacific at Nokia Networks.
