The Rural Cellular Association reported that Cincinnati Bell Inc.’s (CBB) mobile divison has joined the trade organization. Cincinnati Bell Wireless served 509,000 customers across parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana at the end of 2010.
“We are pleased to join RCA, and we look forward to working with fellow members on important pending policy decisions,” said Michael Vanderwoude, VP and GM of wireless for Cincinnati Bell in a stgatement. “RCA provides a great platform for advocacy and expanding business relations in the wireless industry, and Cincinnati Bell looks forward to getting involved.”
RCA noted last week that America Tower Corp. had joined, with regional wireless operator MetroPCS Communications Inc. joining RCA last month. RCA has more than 190 member companies.
