ACTON, Mass.-AutoCell Laboratories Inc. announced it received follow-on venture funding from investors that participated in the company’s series C financing round, including Motorola Inc., Siemens Venture Capital and Thomas Weisel Venture Partners. Terms were not released.
The company also announced it filed more than 70 patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The company provides distributed RF control that allows simultaneous data and voice communications for enterprise wireless networks. Some of the patent applications cover channel selection, load balancing and power control, wireless mobility and fast roaming, and secure wireless key distribution and automatic key generation.
The company also announced the patent office issued it a “notice of allowance” for the company’s patent application for its AutoCell VIEW system.
