MELBOURNE, Fla.-Harris Corp. has acquired Ohio-based Triplett Corp.’s cellular and telecommunications businesses, enabling Harris to provide test systems and other equipment for the wireless telecommunications market.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Triplett will transfer its test equipment for cellular and copper-based telecommunications systems to Harris’ Dracon Division. Triplett employees associated with the product areas will become part of Harris Dracon.
