MILAN, Italy-Richard Lockwood has been named vice president and regional manager of the European and Asia/Pacific wireless operations for Bell Atlantic International Wireless.
Lockwood assumes operational responsibilities for the company’s businesses in Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also will pursue future ventures for the company in Europe and the Pacific Rim.
Lockwood was most recently executive vice president of customer care for Omnitel Pronto Italia, the second Global System for Mobile communications wireless carrier in Italy.
