MICROWAVE POWER WINS LUCENT ORDER

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Lucent Technologies Inc. awarded Microwave Power Devices Inc. a follow-on order to supply highly linear, single-channel, Code Division Multiple Access personal communications services amplifiers.

Microwave Power Devices values the deal at $7.3 million. Shipments are set to begin in first quarter 1998.
