EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.-Metromedia International Group Inc. announced its Baltcom Plus joint venture now is implementing the high-speed FLEX protocol paging on a nationwide basis in Latvia.
The company said FLEX will allow it to provide calling party pays, two-way and voice paging, as well the capacity to handle increased subscribers on the network.
Metromedia International Group, through its wholly owned subsidiary Metromedia International Telecommunications Inc., owns and operates communications and media businesses in Eastern Europe, the Republics of the former Soviet Union and other emerging markets.
