HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Globecomm Systems Inc. acquired an 18.75-percent interest in McKibben Communications, a privately held Los Angeles-based company providing global TV program origination and distribution to private networks and the cable TV and direct-to-home industries.
Globecomm also has an option to later acquire an additional 11.25-percent interest in the company. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
