SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. announced it established a software developers program for the pdQ smartphone.
The program will provide applications developers with the resources and tools needed to create new applications for the phone, which is a combination Code Division Multiple Access mobile phone and Palm Computing personal digital assistant, said Qualcomm.
Qualcomm said the first part of the program was the release of a software developer’s kit for developers to write applications to the Palm III computing platform.
