SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. and L.M. Ericsson said they have agreed to jointly develop and market a wireless technology solution supporting both Code Division Multiple Access and Bluetooth standards.
According to the agreement, Ericsson’s Microelectronics group will develop a Bluetooth-compatible radio unit while Qualcomm’s CDMA Technologies group will develop the Bluetooth digital baseband processing that will be integrated into future Mobile Station Modem chipset and software solutions.
