NEW YORK-Repeater Technologies Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif., network infrastructure supplier, debuted on the Nasdaq Aug. 9 with a 4.75 million share initial public offering.
The company’s technology expands the coverage area of cellular and other wireless networks by receiving, amplifying and re-transmitting voice and data signals between mobile end-user devices and base stations. U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffrey was lead manager of the IPO, which priced at $9 per share, the middle of the expected $8-$10 range. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
