SAN DIEGO-Quake Wireless Inc. which manufactures subscriber communicators for the Orbcomm low-earth-orbit satellite network, announced the company’s QHE-2500 heavy equipment tracking and monitoring communicator received regulatory type approval from Orbcomm Global L.P.
The government approved the equipment after extensive testing and evaluation to verify all components met performance and operation standards required for communications with the Orbcomm satellite network, the company said.
