ATLANTA-Air2Web Inc. announced it will wirelessly enable various health applications for HMOs, physicians and patients in partnership with SmartMeds.com, a subsidiary of online pharmaceutical provider Infu-Tech Inc.
Expected applications include providing targeted health news, information and services, such as receiving notification of when to take medication and refilling prescriptions. These solutions will be available over any data-enabled two-way wireless device, the company said.
Members of the Care Plus HMO will be targeted with the initial launch.
