ZTE Corporation, a global leading provider of information and communication technology solutions launched the immersion liquid cooling server IceTank at the MWC Shanghai 2024. This server is specifically designed for data center scenarios requiring highly efficient cooling, showcasing ZTE’s latest achievements in data center technological innovation and sustainable development.

“As digitalization and AI accelerate, digital infrastructure is emerging as a pivotal force in global economic growth. ZTE is actively embracing the global digital construction trend, continuously increasing its investment and layout in aspects of digitalization, intelligence, and green, low-carbon development. By providing full-scenario general-purpose infrastructure, full-stack intelligent computing infrastructure, and end-to-end liquid cooling solutions, ZTE is dedicated to constructing an all-encompassing and efficient digital foundation for various industries. Together with global partners, we aim to forge a sustainable future that is high-efficiency, green, and intelligent.” Mr. Wang Quan, Vice President of ZTE said.

ZTE has been committed to deep cultivation in the server field since 2005. With over 30 years of experience in CT hardware design, manufacturing, and software development, ZTE is dedicated to creating highly reliable and high-performance products. From component selection to product shipment, from design to production testing, every link adheres to stricter standards and specifications, resulting in an overall system failure rate lower than the industry average.

ZTE’s server and storage intelligent factory was put into operation in 2022, with an annual output of 500,000 units. “It is currently the leading factory in the industry, with the highest degree of automation, intelligence and flexibility. Through 3D machine vision, AI and dual-robot precision collaboration and other technologies, the artificial hidden dangers existing in traditional manufacturing methods are avoided, and the production efficiency and product stability are greatly improved. ” Mr. Wang Quan said. “ For example, in the quality inspection process, the missed detection rate can be 0, and the traceability rate can be increased by 100%, which truly realizes the replacement of manual labor by machines.”

ZTE offers differentiated products for various application scenarios. In the field of general-purpose computing, it provides high density servers, mission-critical servers, mass storage servers, etc. In the intelligent computing domain, ZTE offers a series of training servers, inference servers, and AiCube integrated training and inference cabinet, ten thousand-GPUs scale training pools, regional inference pools, and edge integrated training and inference across all scenarios. For green and energy-saving scenarios, ZTE provides a full-chain liquid cooling solution, offering cold plate liquid cooling and immersion liquid cooling as needed, and also provides the IceCube all-liquid cooling cabinet solution to promote the green and efficient development of data centers.

The latest Q4 2023 IDC report indicates that ZTE is the largest supplier in China’s telecommunications server market, holding over 30% of the market share. In 2023, ZTE’s global server shipments exceeded 250,000 units, ranking fifth in China and eighth globally. As one of the fastest-growing server manufacturers, “ZTE offers servers with high-performance computing capabilities, supporting global connectivity across more than 50 countries and regions,” said Mr. Wangquan. In overseas markets, ZTE leverages its global service system, adopts a localization strategy to explore development paths, and collaborates closely with numerous leading operators, internet companies, and channel partners. It provides consulting services raging from infrastructure planning, application cloudification planning, to data enablement planning. In recent years, ZTE has achieved a CAGR over 250% in terms of server shipments and revenue, and have served customers of global operators in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Austria and Mexico, etc.

ZTE said it is committed to providing 24-hour technical support services to ensure the safe and stable operation of the network and services. ZTE also said it collaborates with partners to ensure a stable and sustainable supply of servers. In addition, ZTE has an advanced after-sales service system with over 10,000 engineers in 107 countries, providing “factory services” to all customers worldwide.

In the future, ZTE will continue to work closely with global operators and industry partners to jointly promote the transformation and upgrading of computing infrastructure, foster continuous technological innovation and commercial deployment, and accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation across all industries.
