Metrocall inks Philadelphia contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Metrocall Inc. announced today it won a competitive bid process to supply wireless communications to the city of Philadelphia, which calls for the company to furnish a variety of types of pagers to many of the city’s 25,000 employees. Initially, 4,000 employees will receive pagers.
