Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Congratulates Clients Telefonica, Henderson Global Investors and Wolfson Microelectronics on ifsProShare Awards

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is pleased to announce that three of its stock plan clients were awarded prestigious ifsProShare Awards at the 2010 awards ceremony in London on December 2.
Telefonica won the ifsProShare award for the category of “Best International Share Plan.” Telefonica was selected as the winner in this category by the judges for its strong commitment to employees and impressive simultaneous launch across numerous global locations, including unique multilingual communication methods and innovative microsites hosted on the company intranet for employee information and education, resulting in a very high take-up rate.
Henderson Global Investors retained the ifsProShare award for the “Best Overall Performance in Fostering Employee Share Ownership” (up to 1,000 employees) for the third successive year. Henderson was commended by ifsProShare for “consistently setting the bar in this category through clear commitment to employee share ownership while taking care to give employees the tools they need to make an informed investment choice.”
Wolfson Microelectronics was awarded a commendation for the “Best New Share Plan” category, for introducing their Save As You Earn share plan this year, using strategic planning and communications to encourage high take-up of the plan upon its launch.
