RESTON, Va.—Wireless data carrier Motient Corp., proving that it’s still a viable company after recently emerging from a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring, announced Fox Filmed Entertainment deployed an initial batch of Research In Motion Ltd. BlackBerry devices powered by the carrier’s eLink software.
“We needed a reliable carrier with network coverage everywhere we travel in the U.S., which is why Motient was our top choice,” said Nader Karimi, Fox’s vice president of emerging technology.
