PARIS-Alcatel said it demonstrated streaming video between third-generation (3G) mobile terminals in Madrid, Spain, and Italy. The French vendor said it has established a range of 3G mobile services, including voice, data and video communications, in its Madrid center.
The video transfer occurred in a 64 kilobits per second (kbps) circuit-switched video telephony demonstration.
