NEW ORLEANS-Proxity Digital Networks Inc. said it will begin using personal digital assistants to protect railways, ports and borders with its On Alert Gunshot Detection System (GDS) technology.
GDS, currently in beta testing, allows authorities to monitor target areas with details of gunshots including type of gun used, number of shots fired and exact location of where the shots originated.
