AT&T Wireless files shelf facility with SEC

WASHINGTON-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. filed a $4 billion shelf facility with the Securities and Exchange Commission enabling the company to periodically sell debt securities, common and preferred stock and other securities. AT&T Wireless noted in the filing that net proceeds from the any offering would be used for general corporate purposes.
