ATLANTA-AirGate PCS Inc. named Bob Ferchat chairman of the company’s board of directors, replacing Barry Schuffman, who resigned his position.
Ferchat has been a member of AirGate’s board since 1999,serving as chairman of its audit committee and previously served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Canadian wireless operator BCE Mobile Communications Inc.
