Balsillie reportedly has signed an agreement to buy the Pittsburgh Penguins National Hockey League franchise for about $175 million. The team’s current owner, Mario Lemieux, put the team up for sale this summer.
- The communications sector has identified 400,000 employees in the management, operations and engineering fields as critical to continuity during a pandemic outbreak, according to a report presented to the National Infrastructure Advisory Committee. NIAC is sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security and has members for a variety of industries, including high-tech, that advise the Homeland Security Department on a wide-ranging list of events and issues surrounding critical-infrastructure protection.

The show also offers a reward of up to 50,000 pounds to users who provide “the right” exclusive photos or videos for the show.
