Smart building specialist Honeywell announced the commercial launch of Honeywell Sine, a mobile solution to support organizations in their plans to return workers to buildings.
From managing varying occupancy levels to pre-screening visitors before arrival, Honeywell says the new solution can help facility managers and operators create a “simplified site experience” that offers frictionless access by checking credentials with a mobile device through integrations with access control systems.
Last year, Honeywell acquired Adelaide, Australia-based Sine, a specialist in mobile workplace management technology. Sine provides a solution which tracks the flow of people throughout a building. Organizations such as Tennis Australia are using Sine to deliver better insights to improve confidence and comfort onsite to get fans, staff, and vendors back to competitive tennis.
?Our goal was to bring back our event in the safest way possible and help ensure players, spectators and employees felt comfortable and more secure in the new environment. Last month, Honeywell announced the launch of a cloud-based solution for building owners and managers that streamlines and combines operational and business data to support better decision-making.
The new solution, dubbed Honeywell Forge Real Estate Operations, extends the capabilities of Honeywell Forge enterprise performance management software and was jointly developed with SAP on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
Honeywell Forge Real Estate Operations is a cloud-based analytics application. The SaaS solution aggregates the financial, employee and real estate data of SAP with Honeywell?s buildings data, IoT sensor data and building management system insights. Real estate portfolio owners, managers and operators can use actionable insights from the software to help optimize their real estate performance across multiple dimensions of building performance, according to Honeywell.
