CINCINNATI-Regional telecommunications provider Cincinnati Bell Inc. extended its outsourcing agreement with former subsidiary Convergys Corp. to continue to provide professional consulting and data processing services to Cincinnati Bell. In addition, the carrier said it has agreed to deploy Convergys’ Infinys modular and convergent business support system software.
“We are pleased to extend our agreement with Convergys, especially given our common heritage and strong working relationship for nearly two decades,” said Chip Burke, vice president of information technology at Cincinnati Bell.
Convergys was spun off from Cincinnati Bell in 1998. Financial terms of the extension were not released.
