The US arm of T-Systems, Deutsche Telekom’s digital services division, is bundling LoRaWAN connectivity plans and hardware offers from US-based Senet with its own IoT platform.
Senet said it had struck a deal for T-Systems to resell its network connectivity plans and IoT solutions with the German firm’s Cloud of Things IoT platform for application management and expansion. The arrangement is for US-based enterprises seeking to deploy IoT connectivity solutions.
Senet is offering cloud-based tools for application management, plus professional services and support into the bargain. It said the bundles support both indoor and outdoor vertical applications, and include all-inclusive airtime pricing, alongside LoRaWAN-based sensors, devices, and gateways, and integrated solutions for various applications.
The company cited solutions for security, carbon dioxide, and water leak detection, variously monitoring for motion, presence, air, and moisture. T-Systems is also reselling LoRaWAN-based solutions for light, temperature, and humidity monitoring, automated smart lighting, desk/chair occupancy, irrigation control, fridge temperatures, and emergency panic buttons.
