Jamdat agrees to cell-phone games starring Dora, Blue

LOS ANGELES-Mobile entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile Inc. will partner with Nickelodeon to develop and distribute games based on the network’s most-watched shows, the companies announced Thursday.

“Dora the Explorer” and “Blue’s Clues,” the No. 1- and 2-rated shows for preschoolers, will be the subject of the two new games for mobile phones. Jamdat said the games will reflect the content and characters of each show.

“Jamdat is pleased to be making games based on the top two shows for preschoolers,” said Mitch Lasky, Jamdat’s chief executive officer. “Through our relationship with Nickelodeon Online, we will bring these franchises to life through mobile phones in ways that are faithful to the spirit of the shows.”
