SALT LAKE CITY-Internet portal Overstock.com Auction unveiled an application allowing wireless users to access their accounts and listings from Web-enabled Palm-based devices.
O-Anywhere 1.0 delivers real-time information about items that have been bought or sold and allows users to track bids on items and compare prices of different auctions. The downloadable application is available for $30 a year or $4 a month and is being offered for a free two-week trial.
“This is a valuable new service for buyers and sellers because it provides easy access away from a PC and increases the availability of the Overstock Auctions site as a whole,” said Holly MacDonald-Korth, vice president of Overstock.com Auctions.
